    On September 15, My fiance and I went to Simon's for our marriage license. We set everything up. However, because we are getting married for the first time, we didn't know that a marriage license is only valid for 3 months after purchase. The lady never asked us when our wedding date (December 30) was in order to inform us of the invalidity of the lisence if we were to purchase that day. Once we got to our vehicle I noticed on the bottom it says valid for only 3 months after purchase. We called Simon's right away because we were both unaware of this. She said there was nothing she could do although it was her mistake. We now have to pay $60 once again because of her mistake. We are very dissatisfied with the service we received because we are new to this process and expected a store who offers marriage licenses to have employees who know all the aspects of getting one.
